Your new charcuterie board comes conditioned with a combination of food safe oils and waxes.
No piece of wood is exactly the same & there will be variations in the grains and colours of the wood.
Caring for your board by following the instructions below will definitely increase its longevity!
Hand wash only, in warm water with mild soap. Never let your board soak in the water.
Never wash in the dishwasher.
Periodically condition your board by applying an even coat of food grade mineral oil and polishing it into the wood every several weeks.
When the board is new or after maintenance (conditioning with oil), take care not to put the board on any fabrics while the oil is curing (ie: fabric ottoman), it will take time for oil residue on the surface of the paddle to absorb into the wood and dry. You wouldn’t want the oil to transfer to the fabric.
PLEASE NOTE: There is an estimated creation time of approximately 3-5 days before pickup/shipping. This can vary at times due to many reasons such as order volumes.
